Location: room 013 in building C-3 on the WUST Campus
The primary focus of the laboratory is teaching and research in the areas of computer architecture, advanced databases, system security, and signal processing - courses taught in the first-degree program for students majoring in Technical Computer Science. The software has been installed for the virtualization, and programming of 32- and 64-bit microcontrollers and microprocessors with ARM and x86 architectures (simple and cross-compilers GCC, GDB, binutils). The classroom is equipped with a multimedia projector, screen, and whiteboards.
The laboratory has the capacity to perform research work in the areas of low-level C/asembler x86 programming with extensions and distributed programming; system integrity and security issues; concurrency issues in multitasking and multithreaded systems.
