L2.2/C-16 Laboratory of Neural Networks and High-Dimensional Data Processing

Supervisors and location

Laboratory Supervisors:

Location: room L2.2 in building C-16 on the WUST Campus

Scope of activities

The core activity of the laboratory is didactics and research in artificial neural networks and fuzzy logic, microcontroller programming, experimental data analysis, and seminars and project meetings. Topics also include information technology, databases, decision support, algorithm design, and computer vision. The room is used by the Cybertech circle, which deals with artificial intelligence, machine learning, and image processing. The room is equipped with a multimedia projector, screen, and whiteboards. Specialized software is installed on the computers for numerical calculations, programming of 32-bit microcontrollers with ARM architecture, and machine learning with the training of deep neural networks (TensorFlow, PyTorch, Matlab, Statistica, STM32CubeIDE).

Offer for Industry

The laboratory can carry out research work in the field of intelligent data processing on hardware platforms enabling parallel computing using GPU cards, programming microcontrollers with ARM architecture, and machine learning with the training of deep neural networks.
