Equipment

19 Dell Optiplex 7090 PCs, each equipped with an Intel Core i7-10700 @ 2.90 GHz, 16 GB of RAM and a 256 GB SSD.

The computers run the Virtsys virtualization management system, which is a proprietary solution for the Laboratory. This system is a virtualization base that allows it to work with different operating systems. Two operating systems are available: Windows 10 Education and Debian 11.

Installed software including Microsoft Visual Studio, Visual Studio Code, PyCharm, and Matlab. The lab can be prepared for any classes, and installation of the necessary software is possible.

Purpose

The laboratory is currently designed for teaching in the following areas:

• operating systems,
• programming basics,
• advanced programming techniques,
• information technology.
