Location: room 127L in building C-3 on the WUST campus.

Equipment

19 Dell Optiplex 7080 (09A4) PCs. Each PC is equipped with an Intel Core i7-10700 processor @ 2.90GHz, 16GB of RAM, and a 256GB SSD.

The computers run the Virtsys virtualization management system, which is a proprietary solution for the Laboratory. This system is a virtualization base that allows it to work with different operating systems. Two operating systems are available: Windows 10 Education and Debian 11.

Installed software including Microsoft Visual Studio, Visual Studio Code, PyCharm, and Matlab. The lab can be prepared for any classes, and installation of the necessary software is possible.

Purpose

The laboratory is currently designed to teach the following areas:

• efficient algorithm designing,
• programming languages,
• operating systems,
• information technology.
