Location: room L2.3 in building C-16 on the WUST Campus
The core activity of the laboratory is teaching and research in the fields of programming languages, software engineering, and distributed and object-oriented databases Topics also include specialized instruction in the programming of mobile systems and applications (Android and iOS). An additional local area network of 8 MacBook Pro computers, running Mac OS X and the Xcode environment for writing applications for Apple's iPhone smartphones and iPad tablets, is available to students. The room is used by the ISA^2 (Informatics for Autonomous and Adaptive Systems) circle, which organizes regular mobile device programming workshops. The room is equipped with a multimedia projector, screen, and whiteboards. The 17 computer workstations have specialized software installed with Windows 10 Professional -Eclipse, IntelliJ, Netbeans, Visual Studio, Android Studio, Visual Paradigm, MySQL, Workbench, Putty, WinScp, Postman, Git, and Docker.
The laboratory can carry out research work in the design and development of mobile device programming, databases, software engineering, and advanced programming methods in the broadest sense.
